What is Myrex IRIS?
Myrex IRIS is a manufacturing and training platform for manufacturers that uses high-resolution 3D scans of each of your assets to guide operators and technicians much more quickly to the information they need to do their tasks.
Why use Myrex IRIS?
The lack of consistent and accessible documentation for training, maintenance and support takes away as much of 18% of wrench time, resulting in longer downtimes, slower training and less consistent execution
How do I onboard an asset to IRIS? Can we do this ourselves?
To build the IRIS Spatial scan, we do multiple passes over your machinery with a state-of-the-art 3D scanner and standard camera equipment. The process can take anywhere from one to three hours per asset. For companies that prefer to do their own scanning for any reason, Myrex offers Certified IRIS Scanner training and specifies the hardware devices you’ll use.
How do I link the 3D models to my knowledge base and workflow systems?
IRIS provides authoring tools that allow you to tag dozens of stations or other hotspots on each of your assets and then link each of them to videos, graphics, how-to guides. You’ll use this same tool to configure roles and responsibilities, notifications, schedules and other workflow items
What does IRIS run on?
The IRIS front end 3D interface is designed for use on iPads to allow operators and technicians to work directly in front of the asset. The front end also runs on desktops. The Myrex back-end software can run either on the Myrex cloud or servers on your IT network, depending on your security policies.
Can Myrex IRIS integrate with my existing tools?
Yes. Whether you want to integrate IRIS with your ticketing system, a learning management system, CMMS, ERP or any other enterprise IT, IRIS is designed to be highly configurable.
Is Myrex Iris easy to use if you’re not technical?
IRIS is designed to be used by any worker on your factory floor -- the 3D interface is natural and intuitive. No computer technical skills are required
How do you charge for Myrex IRIS?
IRIS users pay a one-time asset onboarding fee for each asset ingested, plus a low monthly or annual subscription fee per machine
